Principal's Message
Hello Perry Hill Students and Families,
It is with great excitement that I write this introductory letter to you as the new Principal of Perry Hill School. I am honored and privileged to be part of the Perry Hill learning community and I am looking forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff. Fortunately, I have already had opportunities to meet our amazing staff members and students, and it is abundantly clear why community members hold Perry Hill in such high regard.
This will be my twenty-third year as an educator and my experience has allowed me to work with students ranging from grades six through twelve in various roles. My former roles include social studies teacher, assistant principal, Team Leader, curriculum leader, and more. I believe that these experiences, combined with my educational philosophy, will allow me to partner with the members of our learning community to ensure that our students are successful throughout their time in the Shelton school system and beyond.
On a more personal note, I am getting to know our community a bit better each day. Every chance I get, I introduce myself to people here in town and listen to what they have to say about our school system. The appreciation and passion that the people of Shelton have about their schools and town is admirable and I am so thankful to now be a part of the Shelton community. I want you to know that I too share this appreciation and passion and I will do my best to serve the students of our community in this regard.
